Guys don’t want girls to be bitches to them. Some guys just want a girl that challenges them, is able to take and give shit. Some guys actually want an equal partner. It has less to do with bitchiness and more to do with standing up for oneself, being independent and happy about it. Not needy and whiny. Not everyone wants a lap dog.

You’re not destined to be single, you just haven’t met the right person. You’re a strong woman, dear Sara. Not all guys can handle that, especially the types that you’ve been trying to scout (example: a husband to take care of you).

You know what you currently want and what you actually need are polar opposites, right? There are some qualities that you will find in both types of people, but limiting yourself to a “provider” versus an equal partner will allow you to be a stay at home mom, but not a happy one.
