a collection of memories

In a former life, I bought tickets very similar to these for Jim’s mom. She loved Disneyland, practically grew up there, and was generous enough to buy me an annual pass so that I could go with her and Jim. I didn’t care for Disneyland before them, still wouldn’t spend my money to go there, but I was happy to experience what it was like for them. How much it meant to them. It’s weird thinking about those days because the memories feel like they belong to someone else. As if I were just a bystander.
